Why use an interior Designer to help renovate my home?

Renovating a home can be incredibly stressful, especially if its the first time you have undertaken such a project.

I can bring many years expertise to your renovation, which in many instances can make for a smoother process. There are hundreds of decisions to be made during the job, from layout; to switch, lighting and socket positions and finishes; to flooring and wall finishes, I will make sure that you have a plan in place with all finishes before the start, to minimise delay.

Delays can be costly and rush decisions can result in a poor layout and an uncoordinated look to the finish.

I can guide you from the beginning to make sure that doesn’t happen.

We can advise on layout either by taking down walls (we can also approach a structural engineer to see if its load bearing), or by putting up walls or moving doors. We can advise on kitchen and bathroom layout and finish, putting a lot of thought into how the flow of the house will work and also who will be using the space.

We are able to see the bigger picture, so can provide a coordinated look for the whole house. We can advise on all aspects of the refurb including furniture and window coverings.
